Our Mission

Commonwealth is committed to challenging all students to reach their fullest potential. Our aim is for all students to thrive in a caring, respectful, and encouraging environment where they can develop their individual talents, critical thinking, and technology skills by being actively engaged in the learning process.

Commonwealth’s entire staff will work collaboratively to ensure all students succeed. We will focus on the core subject areas to support consistent student achievement so that all students attain grade-level or higher performance levels year after year.  Students will develop critical and creative thinking as well as problem-solving skills that will prepare them to be college and career ready.

Our school leadership team will ensure that all teachers and instructional support staff receive ongoing and relevant professional development that ensures the use of research-based and data-driven effective instruction to meet the needs of ALL students. 

We will actively forge partnerships with families, businesses, and community organizations to provide the support and resources needed that will allow our students to grow academically, socially, physically, and emotionally.
